What is
Orton Gillingham?
A systematic approach using explicit and sequential decoding instruction emphasizing the multi-sensory use of visual, auditory, and kinesthetic pathways. Each session uses individual and small group reading instruction (no more than 5 students) held in my home in Morristown, NJ.
My Bio
I am Christina Cucci, a lifelong learner and educator. I have been a NJ educator for over 25 years. I was a Classroom Teacher, Basic Skills Teacher, and Enrichment Instructor in Bergen County, NJ for over 11 years. These last 14 years I have worked as a School Library Media Specialist and the school library is my home. I also have a degree in special education.
I love to work as a private tutor because I can give individualized instruction to students in the areas where they may be struggling, while having a lot of fun.
