What is the Orton Gillingham Method?
A systematic approach using explicit and sequential decoding instruction emphasizing the multi-sensory use of visual, auditory, and kinesthetic pathways. Each session uses individual and small group reading instruction (no more than 5 students) held in my home in Morristown, NJ.
Week-Long Summer Sessions
Monday-Friday from 9:00-11:30 am
Session 1: June 23-June 27
Session 2: July 7-July 11
Session 3: July 14-July 18
Session 4: August 4-August 8
Session 5: August 11-August 18 (back to school bootcamp)
Session 6: August 18-August 22 (back to school bootcamp)
Cost: $750/session
Early Registration (before Mar 1): $700/session

10:00-10:15: Snack and Playtime
10:15-11:00: Workshop Session 2
including Vocabulary, Syllabication, Reading Fluency
11:00-11:25: Writing
11:30:Pick Up
What's Included?
All materials and instruction will be provided by Growing Minds. Students will receive a reading baggie to use and can keep at the end of the session. Parents are given handouts to continue the learning all summer long.
